Diana Solomon Makeup from the Set of New Film: Five Minarets in New York
From the last day of the shoot of the new film, Five Minarets in New York, Diana Solomon says, "I've used several Egon Schiele cosmetics on the actors. We were mostly outdoors, in sun and heat and humidity. I used the silky smooth Egon Schiele Powder Foundation every day. The shades of the Mineral Powder Foundation matched perfectly to every skin tone. The coverage evens the skin tone yet looks so natural. Even the darkest shades didn't change throughout the day.
The Live it Up gloss is my favorite summer shade. I would describe it as pink/gold. It smells delicious. I like it with Nice Tan bronzer on the cheekbones and Bloom blush on the apples of the cheeks. Add Catwalk eye shadow to the lash line and the Lash of Luxury mascara. The eye shadows are great to mix and play off each other. I haven't finished exploring all the possibilities"

LA Beauty Examiner's New York Associate, Linda Covello Reports
from the New York Makeup Show
Examiner.com says: "Maintaining an old school notion of glamour, the unique and elegant new company Egon Schiele, named for the famous Austrian artist, the founder took the philosophy of makeup as art to the literal degree by displaying the lovely and rich array of her company's products on an actual artist's palette.
The colors, textures, and tones that are the base of the Egon Schiele makeup line are directly inspired by the signature colors of the master's paintings focusing on his use of reds, bricks, and oranges. This combo is most powerful in the potent blends that comprise the company's signature lipstick, "Knock-Out".
Other event heavyweights included MAC, Smashbox, Alcone and Makeup Forever, as well as other important companies that help artists make their mark in the worlds of film, television and print. The show attracted New York fashionistas who took advantage of these moments to put their style on display with beautiful, eccentric and futuristic examples of the art of makeup."

Cassandra Kennedy at The Makeup Show NYC 2010 Report
Cassandra Kennedy says, "There were some surprises such as the Egon Schiele Cosmetics booth. My husband is a huge fan of Schiele's artwork but he doesn't exactly conjure up images of lovely ladies the way some artists like Vermeer did. Turns out the lady at the booth was friends with the Schiele family. Very cool story!"
